Version 2 of Dashbook, an affordable solution for very small publishers has been released.
Version 2 enhancements include;
- Network Level supports multiple users.
- Enterprise Level supports one or more users on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Sales channels for different royalty percents based on order or buyer.
- PayPal integration to pay authors directly.
- Royalty payment thresholds avoid small payments.
- Hold payments on royalties to postpone payments.
- Contact communication history to record your emails, phone calls, etc.
- Product inactive switch removes old products from sale choices.
- Copy products, royalty agreements, orders and contacts to reduce typing.
- Extended product descriptors add more like subtitle and media type.
- Editable invoice quantities allow consignment sales of partial stock.
- Import book data from the internet based on multiple ISBNs.
- Fractions on product weight because small numbers add up.
- Social security number / tax ID numbers added to all contact types.
